Sarasota County Welcomes the Baltimore Orioles

The Sarasota Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to welcome the Baltimore Orioles to our community! Baseball has been a year-round tradition in Sarasota for players and spectators since 1924. It began when Sarasota built its first spring training stadium, Payne Park, and John Ringling helped recruit the New York Giants to hold spring training here. Over the years, major and minor leagues have held spring training seasons downtown and developed rising talent at Twin Lakes Park Complex throughout the year. We invite you and your family to visit our area and enjoy beautiful Sarasota County. There is a wide variety of things to enjoy in Sarasota while you are here to see Major League action, including Mote Aquarium, the John and Mable Ringling Museum and our award-winning beaches.
