While we're renowned for our beaches, we also boast an active sports community. There are plenty of opportunities to get hands on with our golf courses, tennis amenities, fishing and water sports. The sporting activities in Sarasota are second to none. There's also nothing quite like watching the Orioles in the newly renovated Ed Smith Stadium while noshing on a fully loaded hot dog. Of course, we're also a short drive from the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning at St. Pete Times Forum.

Sarasota County is a great place for sports, not only for our great year-round weather, but also for the numerous amenities our community has to offer. We have many attractions and a wide variety of accommodations in Sarasota County, everything from campgrounds to luxury resort hotels.
