The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is an event that gives everyone in the community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out and take turns walking around a track in relay fashion. Because cancer never sleeps, the Relay is an overnight event and runs 18 hours. The night begins with a survivor lap and you shouldn’t miss the Luminaria lighting. Teams will offer food, soft drinks and goods for sale at their campsites to raise money for ACS. Music and activities will run throughout the night.
