In addition to our popular Saturday morning life sessions, this summer you might also want to try something different…something dramatically different. On designated evenings, ACS is offering a brand-new series for adults: THEMED SKETCH NIGHTS.
But beware: these are no ordinary life sessions! Each session will feature unique and unusual models, settings and genres. Expect everything…from the classical and romantic to the sexy and risqué to the downright eccentric. Allow yourself to be inspired by these titillating yet tasteful drawing soirees. While not necessarily in the nude, our models will always be in character! So go ahead, add some drama to your artwork! This is an excellent opportunity to refine your drawing skills in the company of your fellow artists and explore fresh, new poses.
Here's an overview of our SKETCH NIGHTS this summer:
*ADONIS NIGHT - THU, JUNE 24, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Examine the anatomy of a god up close. A muscular bodybuilder will display his assets.
*COSTUMED CHARACTERS NIGHT - THU, JULY 1, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Models will pose in extravagant and outrageous garb straight from the theater stage.
* DEGAS NIGHT - THU, JULY 8, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Capture the essence of grace. Two young classically-trained ballerinas will pose in tutu and toe.
* BURLESQUE NIGHT - WED, JULY 21, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Bizarre theatrical poses featuring two exotic and erotic dancers.
* TATTOO NIGHT - TENTATIVE DATE: WED, JULY 28, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Put it in ink! Discover body art! Two models will candidly bare their lavishly adorned physiques.
* STAGED TABLEAUX NIGHT - TUE, AUGUST 3, 5:30 – 8:30PM
Frozen moments from history and pop culture, re-imagined and enacted by our models. It's both surreal and cinematic!
FEE: $12 ACS members, $16 nonmembers per Sketch Night AGE: 18 and over. CALL TO CONFIRM DATES!
