The Band of the Irish Guards and the Royal Regiment of Scotland bring all of the grandeur, pomp and pageantry of the British Empire to Sarasota in this rousing program. Formed in 1900 by Queen Victoria to commemorate the bravery of the Irish Regiments, the Band of the Irish Guards quickly gained a reputation for excellence. Renowned across the globe, this acclaimed ensemble, joined by the pipes and drums of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, will lift your spirits with mesmerizing marches, sailor ballads & Irish folk songs!
