Mote’s newest educational program, Island Quest is designed to bring out the young scientist in kids ages 8-11. Each Island Quest series includes three four-hour sessions full of first-hand science exploration on consecutive Saturdays. Island Quest includes wading into Sarasota Bay to explore watery themes such as the ocean’s motion, discovering the secrets lurking in every drop of seawater and understanding the connections among oceans animals.

All sessions take place on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The program fee is $150 for each three-week session and Mote Members receive the discounted fee of $125.
Participants can also register for individual programs at the rates of $50 for Members and $60 for Non-members. (Program dates and themes are listed below.)
