This Labor Day put the family in the car and bring a picnic to your premier outdoor museum for just $10 per car load. That's right, for only $10 your whole family can enjoy 30-acres of shady nature trails, scenic boardwalks, historic buildings, rich gardens, and bay breezes. There are plenty of picnic tables at variety of interesting locations throughout the museum. Bring a Frisbee or baseball bat and balls and play on the Lychee Field near one of the largest butterfly gardens in the area, or take in some sunshine right next to the cool waters of Little Sarasota Bay overlooking Casey Key, or enjoy the quiet shade of a huge century old Southern Magnolia tree. Sorry no grills or pets. Historic Spanish Point will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm with no site admittance after 4:00pm. Please picnic responsibly.
