The 20th Annual Florida Winefest & Auction, a world-class charity fundraiser, will take place April 22-25, 2010. The 2010 event will include thirty food and wine events and a live auction of approximately 75 lots conducted by David Elswood, Guest Auctioneer, International Wine Expert of Christie's London. The silent auction will have approximately 200 lots.

Venues include The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, private resorts, homes, country clubs, restaurants, and wine cellars. Proceeds will benefit local children’s charitable organizations in the community. Recognized as an international food and wine destination, the Florida Winefest & Auction will feature 51 signature winemakers. Ticket prices range from $15 to $350 per person. Over 6,000 guests are expected to attend the event.

Winemaker Dinners - Unique food and wine pairings offered in perfectly planned settings in upscale restaurants and private homes in Sarasota and Manatee county. Prices $125 per person and up

Friday, April 23

The Showcase Food & Wine Tasting - a sampling of food and wine at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Price $65.00 per person

Food and Wine Seminars - various locations in and around Sarasota, various times and prices

Friday Night Dinner and Dance - The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota 6:30 pm - Midnight Price $300 per person
