Forks and Corks
The annual Forks & Corks Food and Wine Festival promises to serve up lots of fun. This epicurean event, hosted by the Sarasota-Manatee Originals, features wine and food tastings, as well as seminars and food demonstrations.
The Forks & Corks festivities kick off with Winemakers Dinners at Originals member restaurants. Each restaurant matches its cuisine with wine from international vintners who are on hand to answer questions.
The Grand Tasting caps off the Forks & Corks festival with cooking demonstrations, individual food and wine stations and entertainment.
The tasting is an opportunity for visitors to sample all of the top-notch restaurants in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
The event dates vary each year, but the 2010 Forks and Corks festival will take place January 29-31.
