Forks and Corks
The annual Forks and Corks Food and Wine Festival promises to serve up lots of fun. This epicurean event, hosted by the Sarasota-Manatee Originals, features wine and food tastings, as well as seminars and food demonstrations.
The Forks and Corks festivities kick off with a Winemakers Dinners at Originals member restaurants. Each restaurant matches its cuisine with wine from international vintners who are on hand to answer questions.
The Grand Tasting caps off the Forks & Corks festival with cooking demonstrations, individual food and wine stations and entertainment.
The tasting is an opportunity for visitors to sample all of the top-notch restaurants in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
The event dates vary each year, but the 2010 Forks and Corks festival will take place January 29-31.
