Make plans to attend the 2010 Sarasota Exotic Car Fest. Held on Valentine’s weekend, the city of Sarasota has become an event destination for avid exotic car enthusiasts from across the U.S. The Saturday St. Armands Concours continues to be the favored highlight of a weekend of festivities that also includes a Friday evening Jet Port Reception, an elegant Saturday evening dinner, and a Sunday morning Road Rally and brunch.
The Sarasota Car Fest’s main event is held Saturday on beautiful St. Armands Circle and is open to the public, where thousands of visitors stroll the St. Armands Concours to view Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Aston Martins, Bugatti Veyrons, and other rare and exotic cars. In 2009 over 90 cars were displayed, and an estimated 4,000 visitors also enjoyed a variety of fine restaurants, excellent shopping, and beautiful weather. Within a short walking distance of the Circle is Lido Beach, where you can relax with a swim in the clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. From an early morning breakfast on the Circle to enjoying a panoramic view of a colorful sunset at the beach, this family friendly event offers great fun and entertainment for everyone.
The 2010 Sarasota Exotic Car Fest weekend kicks off on Friday, February 12, with a spectacular Jet Port Reception held at the Rectrix Aerodrome Center at the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport. In addition to the many unique cars displayed, the evening’s entertainment includes sophisticated jets, custom-built motorcycles, upscale fashion shows, and a silent auction. Ticket purchase required.
Saturday evening features sunset cocktails on the great lawn at the Ritz-Carlton Members Beach Club on Lido Key – followed by an elegant, tropical beachside dinner and live entertainment. Ticket purchase required.
On Sunday, Valentine’s Day starts with a Road Rally through Sarasota followed by a closing brunch at The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club. Ticket purchase required for breakfast.
