Hilton Free Sea Turtle Walks are scheduled to depart from the Hilton at 6:45 a.m. every Saturday through September 6, 2008. The walks, which last about one hour, are open to hotel guests and the general public. Reservations are not required. Simply meet the group by 6:45 a.m. on any scheduled Saturday to attend. Ritz-Carlton Accompany a Ritz-Carlton employee on a fun and informative sunrise Beach Patrol, in search of tracks indicating that a nesting sea turtle came ashore the previous night. Employees are Mote Marine Laboratory-trained and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission-permitted, allowing them to identify and mark nests, rescue turtles, dig nests and touch eggs. Children are welcome on the one-mile walk but must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Turtle walks are complimentary and are conducted Saturday mornings from May through September.
